kconfig: Clean up header comments and make them consistent Use this short header style in all Kconfig files: # <description> # <copyright> # <license> ... Also change all <description>s from # Kconfig[.extension] - Foo-related options to just # Foo-related options It's clear enough that it's about Kconfig. license: Replace Apache boilerplate with SPDX tag Replace the existing Apache 2.0 boilerplate header with an SPDX tag throughout the zephyr code tree. This patch was generated via a script run over the master branch. Also updated doc/porting/application.rst that had a dependency on line numbers in a literal include. Manually updated subsys/logging/sys_log.c that had a malformed header in the original file. Also cleanup several cases that already had a SPDX tag and we either got a duplicate or missed updating. drivers: kconfig: unify menuconfig title strings Unify the drivers/*/Kconfig menuconfig title strings to the format "<class> [(acronym)] [bus] drivers". Including both the full name of the driver class and an acronym makes menuconfig more user friendly as some of the acronyms are less well-known than others. drivers: pwm: add Renesas R-Car driver Add R-Car Gen3 PWM driver. Clock diviser is automatically adjusted according to requested period and duty-cycle in order to obtain as much accuracy as possible. Indeed, in order to improve PWM accurancy, the PWM clock has to fit the requested period. So use the given period_cycle to define if the clock as to be adapted. In such case, increase/decrease the clock diviser to adapt the period_cycle and be sure that it fits into the 10 bits counter of the PWM controller. Tested on H3ULCB on pwm0 and pwm4. drivers: pwm: Add driver for xmc4xxx using ccu8 module Adds driver for pwm on xmc4xxx using Capture Compare Unit 8 (CCU8) module. There are two CCU8 nodes with each one having four slices. Each slice has two output channels. Unlike CCU4, this module can generate complementary high-side/low-side signals for each output channel. OPWFMB uses internal counter, the new period and duty cycle takes effect immediately. OPWMCB and OPWMB use external counter as timebase, changing PWM period at runtime will impact to all channels share the same timebase.
